Video: The Kibbo Kift Kindred

Introducing the 'intellectual Barbarians' of the 1920s.

In this video, Annebella introduces the Kindred of the Kibbo Kift, a movement founded in England during the 1920s by John Hargrave. An offshoot of the Boy Scouts, the Kibbo Kift was modelled on a mythical ideal that fused fantasy, romance, and Native American mythology, and their utopian beliefs looked beyond the existential crises of the 20th century.
