Shaibani dynasty
A warlike Uzbeg dynasty. Establishing a khanate in Turkestan in 1500, the Shaibani created the framework for Uzbeg domination of Turkestan. Under Abdullah Khan II, who ruled from 1583 to 1598, they raided extensively into northeast Persia, but after his death the Janid dynasty assumed power in 1599.
