Parni

Ancient nomadic Iranian-speaking peoples from the eastern Caspian who entered the former Persian empire in the early 3rd century BC. In 238 BC they founded the semi-independent Parthian kingdom under the Arsacid dynasty and assimilated with the Parthians.
