Ko Hung

Chinese philosopher, alchemist and theorist of Daoism (AD 253-333) who developed the Daoist search for the elixir of life in his work, He Who Holds to Simplicity. His work incorporated the ethics of Confucius and criticized the individualism of earlier Daoists.
