Khilakku

Neo-Hittite kingdom of Cilicia, south Anatolia (c.1200-750 BC), formerly a province of the Hittite empire. Although elements of Hittite culture survived, from about 900 BC the region was increasingly influenced by Greek colonies on the coast. Khilakku was conquered by the Assyrians in the mid-8th century BC.
