Banas culture

Culture of the Banas valley, Rajasthan, influenced by the late Indus civilization, with stone and clay houses, Black-and-Red ware pottery and bronze tools. The principal settlement at Ahar dates from about 2200 to 1500 BC. The Banas culture outlived the Indus civilization, and Black-and-Red ware pottery became widespread across southern India after 1800 BC.
