Alexander I (King of Yugoslavia)

(1888-1934) King of Yugoslavia. Serbian prince regent from 1914, after World War I he ruled the kingdom of the Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, becoming king in 1922. In 1929 he established a royal dictatorship and changed the country's name to Yugoslavia. He was assassinated by Macedonian and Croatian terrorists.
