Video: The Last Footage of the Lusitania

The ocean liner was torpedoed on May 7th, 1915.

On May 7th, 1915, RMS Lusitania, a British ocean liner, was travelling from New York to Liverpool when it was torpedoed by a German U-Boat off the southern coast of Ireland. After being hit by a second torpedo, the ship sank, with over 1,100 of the 1,962 people on board losing their lives. The video displayed above shows the ship being readied prior to her fateful last voyage.
