July's Winning Caption

In the July issue of History Today we asked readers to caption this photograph of President Richard Nixon welcoming the Rat Pack's Sammy Davis, Jr to the White House in 1971. 

The winner was Denise Wilson, who posited that the President was putting pen to a film deal:

Nixon: 'Glad to sign up for Ocean's 11, Sammy, but who's going to mistake me for a crook?.
