We are proud to announce the launch of the History Today Student Page on this website.

With this new section, which combines articles from the pages of History Review, the journal for history students and teachers, with material from the History Today archive, we hope to offer a selection of key resources for studying specific topics and themes in history, as well as supplementary reading material to help out with exams and essay-writing. The first subject we're tackling is the Risorgimento, the reunification movement that culminated in the birth of modern Italy around 150 years ago.

We aim to update the page every fortnight or so with a new 'Spotlight On' feature, which will be drawn from subjects that adhere broadly to the GCSE / 'A' level syllabus in the English school curricula, and supplemented with definitions from the Historical Dictionary.

If you have any suggestions about subjects that you think we should feature, please use our Contact Form, email d.nicholas@historytoday.com or leave a comment at the bottom of this page.
