History Today for iPad, Kindle Fire and Android

You can now read History Today on your iPad, Android tablet or Kindle Fire, and on your PC / Mac. The app is free to download, and comes with a sample edition; further issues and subscriptions can be purchased within in-app.

Existing print subscribers can register for the app on this page.

iPad / iPad Mini

Download the app from the app store, or else search for 'History Today' on the the Newsstand app.

Kindle Fire

Readers in the UK: download the app from Amazon.com.

Readers in the United States: download the app from Amazon.com.

If you are based in another country, follow these instructions:

Visit the Newsstand main menu, then tap on the 'Store >' button at the top right. Enter the search term 'History Today' and then tap on the logo. Finally, tap on the 'Get App' button to download.

Please note: to buy any app for your Kindle Fire you'll need to have 1-Click enabled. You can do that either by following the instructions on your device, or by visiting your Amazon account. 

Android

Download the History Today app from the Google Play store.

PC / Mac

Register an account at Pocketmags then go to the History Today page
and you'll be able to purchase the magazine as a downloadable file to
be read on your computer.

Blackberry & Windows Surface

Search for 'Pocketmags' in your devices' App Store and download it. Then,
within the app, search for 'History Today'.
